New Research Programme 'Law and Justice across Borders'
As of 1 January 2017, ACIL, together with ACELG and CSECL, will set up a joint research programme, in view to establish a new research priority area (RPA).
The new research programme is an initiative of the three research centres: the Amsterdam Centre for European Law and Governance (ACELG), the Centre for the Study of European Contract Law (CSECL), and the ACIL. It builds on and succeeds the research project 'The architecture of postnational rulemaking: views from international public Law, European public law and European private law’.
The programme aims to deepen and expand the already existing collaboration among researchers from different legal fields who share a joint interest in conducting high-level research into the Europeanisation and globalisation of the law. It also integrates researchers who are not currently affiliated with one of the RPAs, both from the Faculty of Law and possibly beyond.
