In September, Corina Heri will start as Post-doctoral researcher at the ACIL. Her research will explore the possibility and content of a human right to land and look at ways to integrate land rights regulation and human rights concerns.
Corina Heri recently completed her PhD research at the University of Zurich, Switzerland, on the topic of vulnerability in the Article 3 ECHR case-law of the European Court of Human Rights. Her PhD was funded by grants from the Swiss National Science Foundation and the Janggen-Pöhn Foundation. She previously obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Zurich and an LL.M. from King’s College London in 2012.
Heri's research at the UvA will be part of the 'Law and Justice across Borders' research programme and focus on the proposed human right to land. She will be exploring the possibility and content of such a right and looking at ways to integrate land rights regulation and human rights concerns.
