UvA LL.M. students Enes Süheyl Karataş, Laura Isabel Martínez Jiménez, Jens Ørum and Gijs Verhagen came 9th (jointly) out of 47 in the Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court (FIAMC) 2018.
This is the first time UvA team qualified for “the round of sixteen” and the best result that a UvA has achieved so far. The team was coached by Kerem Gülay and Vladislav Djanic. FIAMC is the oldest and the most prestigious moot court in the field of investment protection law. It is organized by Goethe University’s Wilhelm Merton Centre for European Integration and International Economic Order and McDermott Will & Emery.
