ACIL / International Criminal Law researcher Jill Coster van Voorhout won the Amsterdam Science & Innovation Award 2019 (category Alpha/Gamma) for her project to identify human trafficking activities in bank data. The award funding of 7,500 euros will help her to further develop the project.

Jill Coster van Voorhout developed the project together with ABN Amro Bank and the Dutch Ministry of Social Affairs and Welfare. The Amsterdam Science & Innovation Award is the second award for the project, after having won the Dutch Computable Award 2019 in October.
