Prior to joining ACIL, she was a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute and completed her DPhil at Oxford University.

Before joining academia full-time, she was Deputy Justice at the Colombian Constitutional Court and led the Latin America and Caribbean Program at the Center for Reproductive Rights, working on international litigation.
