The War Reparations Centre (WRC) was established in 2014 at the UvA. It is directed by Prof. Liesbeth Zegveld who holds the chair of War Reparations at the University of Amsterdam. The WRC is part of an international network of academics, lawyers and victim organizations concerned with the enforcement of the right to effective access to justice and adequate, effective and prompt reparation for conflict related harm. The Centre is partner of the Amsterdam Law Clinic and the Nuhanovic Foundation (based in the Amsterdam Law Hub) and welcomes requests from lawyers and ngo’s for legal research to assist litigation and other efforts to obtain redress. Contact: Liesbeth Zegveld.
